Why do multiple mining machines work, but only one machine is shown as being online?
Share:

The situation where the number of miners shown is inconsistent usually results from problems with the miner ID settings, such as failing to set a miner ID or having duplicate miner ID settings.

If multiple miners are set with the same miner ID, these miners with the same name will be combined and displayed as one. When users check on WhalePool, they will find that only one miner appears to be online (although the computing power of the multiple machines is accumulated). Other similar cases of duplicate miner ID settings will all lead to inconsistencies between the number of machines shown as online and the actual number of mining machines.

In addition, it is also necessary to check whether there are any errors in the mining pool address and account name (or wallet address) set on the mining machines, to rule out the possibility that inconsistent settings for connecting to the mining pool and the mining account result in different displays of the account's miners during the query.
